      Verified We absolutely loved our stay at the farmhouse. We used it as a work retreat and the space was equally well equipped for working during the day and relaxing during the evening. The games shed was excellent for enjoying the garden overlooking the hills. Will was incredibly responsive and helpful, going above and beyond what we expected from a host. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone

    Verified We loved our time at Will and Bren’s. The farmhouse is in a idyllic location, surrounded by fields, sheep and birdsong. The farmhouse is lovely with everything you could possibly need. We loved the games room, with so many toys and games for any age! It was perfect for our family get together. Thank you

    Verified The farmhouse is beautiful and so well equipped. It has truly been finished to a very high standard and was very clean with comfortable beds. Will was super welcoming - came and said hello after we’d checked in, and asked how our stay was on checkout. Prior to arrival, he also sent very clear instructions on how to find the farmhouse and where to find the key, as well as loads of information on the house itself and the surrounding area. We were staying for a wedding and it was lovely to have such a lovely place to come back to. Highly recommend if you’re after a high specification house in a peaceful setting!

    Verified Just a 2 night stay for us but this farmhouse was just the ticket for our old girls' school reunion. Quiet and peaceful, the perfect place for a good catch up. For a family with young children, this would be a lovely safe environment for kids to run around and play with the extensive range of toys and games provided by Will. The 3 bedrooms are lovely, two are ensuite with tvs in every room and our host provided everthing we needed - the brownies waiting for us when we arrived were particularly welcome after a long drive! The ground floor bedroom would be ideal if any member of the party had mobility issues. The property is fairly remote (& hence quiet) but Will's instructions using a combination of SatNav postcode & what3words directions were accurate and did the job nicely. The last bit of the journey is down narrow country lanes with high hedges so not ideal for nervous drivers. There are plenty of things to see and do in the area and some nice country pubs nearby.     Verified The property and grounds are beautiful. Time and thought has largely gone into details of the local area and places to visit. The games room is spot on. The ample selection of board games were a blessing. The negative unfortunately was quite a strong one for us. It’s states that the owners are very discreet. This wasn’t the case. We saw them ample times, including guests they had the first weekend. We were asked for a mattress from the house and when I didn’t text back as I was sleeping, Bren arrived at the door and my partner had to get it. The last day Will appeared at the front door unannounced. We picked somewhere secluded for a reason. I hadn’t read the bit that they stayed on the grounds which was my fault. But the picture of property was an old one that didn’t show the property they live in even built then. Sadly this caused frustration and a negative impact on our trip. Bren and Will are lovely people. I just have to be honest * hanging space needed in downstairs bedroom

    Verified We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was just what we wanted, beautiful views and very peaceful but within easy reach of local towns and beaches. The house has been lovingly renovated and was extremely comfortable and well equipped. What stood out for us was the fantastic games barn which we used every day, as well as the large selection of toys, books and games which kept both the kids and adults entertained. The hosts were responsive and nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely return

    Verified the farm house was lovely out in the country just what we wantedthe only faults the down stairs Bedroom needs more storage for clothes( properly get rid of the books as its a Family Room )and the BIGGEST bug bear was the games roomits a family holiday farm house in the country so the adults need something to do at night But the Pool table was so inadequate and the Dart Board was from the Arkwith no Mat or anything to say what distance to throw from or some back board to stop you losing your wayward Dartsand a table tennis table in windy Dorest Please.give us Table Football anytimewho in the country plays Table Tennis ( apart from Chester Barnes) if you do not know who that is thats my very pointBUT make no mistake this is a superb place to have a break we only meet Will. He was everything you could ask for as a Host.

    Verified Really great, we had such a wonderful family time. The home was fantastic and everything we needed to have wonderful meals, great fun at the games room and front lawn, and great BBQ. It was all that was described and so peaceful and quiet, truly restful.

    Verified Beautiful home in the countryside. So quiet and peaceful yet with lots on offer to do at the house and in the local surrounding area. Will provided a very detailed welcome pack before arrival which helped us get prepared for our stay so everything was easy and smooth from the get go! Really grateful for their advice, great communication and for accommodating our needs with 2 young babies in tow! They left us some delicious brownies in the fridge which was a lovely touch. Definitely need a car as the location is very remote. The home and grounds are exactly as pictured. It was cosh, comfortable, tidy and so well equipped. Would 100% stay again, there was so much on the list of activities I'd live to return for a week or more! Absolutely brilliant stay. Thank you Bren and Will!

The property is very well set up for children (toddlers) with a largely enclosed yard, and very well proofed house. Plenty of toys. BBQ, outdoor spaces, comfortable beds ..honestly a great find. Very off the beaten path, but close enough to the coast to be easy. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Overall I would highly recommend.

Garden is lovely surrounded by fields and beautiful Dorset countryside. Well maintained and equipped, the photos don't do the house justice. Good sized rooms and bathrooms. A car is essential but journey to the coast is not far. Thoroughly recommended, you can't fail to enjoy your stay here.
